Orientation and Fresher’s reception program of 11^th MBBS batch of Green Life Medical College was held on 9^th January 2020 at the hospital premises.

Annual Study Tour of Green Life Nursing College

Gynecology and obstetrics department of Green life Medical college organized a program on world menopause month 2019 on 23^rd October at Prof.Dr. Ahasanullah Gallary 15th floor of hospital premises by the sponsorship of Health Care Pharmaceuticals. Professor Joya Sree Roy, head of the department of Gynecology and obstetrics has given her best effort to make the program a successful one .Dr. Lima shompa, Associate Professor presented a very informative, nice power point presentation on menopause, its effect, and an overview of its management. National Professor and chairperson of Green Life Medical College Prof. Dr.Shahla Khatun madam was the chief guest of the program.

World Breastfeeding Week- 1 - 7 August, 2019

An inspiring programme on breastfeeding was jointly organized by the Health Ministry, Bangladesh Breastfeeding Foundation, and the Institute of Public Health Nutrition. High officials of the government have urged the people of the country not to give powdered milk or tinned food to infants. The health minister, director general of the Directorate General of health service (DGHS), director general of the Directorate General of Family Planning (DGFP), and other stakeholders made the call at the programme in observance of World Breastfeeding Week-2019 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) on 6thh August. Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque, was the chief guest of the programme.

Farewell Ceremony of Intern Batch-09 and reception of Intern Batch-10 of Green Life Medical College was held on 8th July 2019, at level 15 , Prof. M.A Ahsanullah Hall of hospital building. Cheif guest of the program was Nationa Prfessor Shahla Khatun, special guests were prof. Dr. Shamsuddin Ahmed, Prof. Dr. Abu Shafi Ahmed Amin, Prof M.A Azhar. Dr. Mainul Ahsan, managing director of Green Life Medical College was the char person of the program.

Since 2004 , Lupus Organization around the world have conducted activities on May 10 to raise awareness and educate the public about the symptoms and health effects of Lupus. Together we can make Lupus an international health priority and to ensure that people with Lupus around the world are diagnosed and treated effectively.

Green Life Medical College is observing the National Health Service week 2019 by extensive program like distributing and exhibiting poster about the progress in health sector and health awareness regarding maternal health issues and some current demographic feature at the every floor of Green Life Medical College and Hospital. The theme of the week of this year is “ensure Health service Right: Promise of Sheikh Hasina”(Sasthyo Sheba Odhikar Sheikh Hasinar Angikar).

International women’s day is celebrated on 8^th March every year. It is a focal point in the movement for women’s rights. Campaign theme of this time is #BalanceforBetter. Green Life Medical College has celebrated women’s day 2019 on 7^th March, at Professor Ahsanullah Hall at level 15 of Green Life Medical College Hospital.

The official scientific journal of Green Life Medical College has got recognition of Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).

Cases required EVLA (Endovenous Laser ablation) of Great Saphenous vein are being treated in Green Life Medical College Hospital now.

Green Life Medical College Hospital is now approved by Government of Bangladesh as “Baby Friendly Hospital”.

I am delighted and feel proud of being a part of the prestigious institute Green Life Medical College. Since its establishment in 2009 it is advancing very rapidly. Large number of renowned specialists (members) and legends of health sector of the country are providing health care and education in this institute.

We are committed to produce medical graduates with sound knowledge excellent skill and attitude. They will be competent enough to handle the health problems of the country and also prove their capability anywhere in home and abroad.

The College is expanding day by day. An adjacent 15 storied building which is a part of the College is almost ready for functioning. Further expansion of the College and its departments are in progress. Our website will provide the updates.

I strongly believe that soon this college will be well known as a standard medical school in home and abroad.
