August 29, 2016, a memorable day for Green Life Medical College Hospital. This hospital is now approved by Government of Bangladesh as “Baby Friendly Hospital”.

On August 31, 2016, in response to World Breast Feeding Observation Week 2016, a seminar has been arranged in Green Life Medical College. Health workers from all levels (Professors, Registrars, Assistant Registrars, Lecturers, Intern doctors, Students, Nurses, Technician, MLSS) attended the seminar. The awareness about “Breast Feeding” has been disseminated not only among the participants, but also to some parents who have attended the seminar. In the session, the award was officially handed over to Managing Director of Green Life Medical College Hospital.

To craft the hospital as “Baby Friendly”, National Professor Shahla Khatun had been taken the initiative and guided the health workers on her own supervision.
