Cases required EVLA (Endovenous Laser ablation) of Great Saphenous vein are being treated in Green Life Medical College Hospital now. The procedure is being done by Prof Mahbubur Rahman (Chairman and Professor of Vascular surgery, BSMMU) and his team, under local or spinal anaesthesia. Procedure requires very limited hospital stay and is cosmetically excellent, as it leaves no scar after the procedure.

EVLA is done in only a few centres all over the country. It is the Gold standard treatment of varicose veins.
