International women’s day is celebrated on 8th March every year. It is a focal point in the movement for women’s rights. Campaign theme of this time is #BalanceforBetter. Green Life Medical College has celebrated women’s day 2019 on 7th March, at Professor Ahsanullah Hall. Education Minister of Bangladesh Government Dr.Dipu Moni graced the program as chief guest, special guest Professor Mahfuza Khanam, President, Asiatic Sociecty of Bangladesh, chair person ,Principal of Green Life Medical college, Professor Dr. M A Azhar. The program started at 8.00 am with a nice informative power point presentation delivered by Professor Dr. Pran Gopal Datta, renowned and famous ENT specialist, Ex-Vice Chancellor, Bangobandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University and one of the directors of Green Life Medical College. National Professor Dr. Shahla Khatun, chairman of Green Life Medical College was given a grand reception on behalf of authority of Green Life Medical College, all the faculties, Intern doctors and nursing unit of Green Life Medical College for her splendid contribution in the medical field of Bangladesh. National Professor Dr. Shahla Khatun madam, Professor Mahfuza Khanam, Professor Dr. M. A Azhar , Honorable Education Minister of Bangladesh Dr. Dipu Moni delivered their valuable speech regarding world women’s day 2019 which were very inspiring indeed. The program ended successfully with a live cultural program and photo session.
